This research seeks to find the correlation between schools, gross domestic product and the characteristics of the road network of the Caldas state. Identifying the regions with low accessibility to schools, in the same way this research found an inverse relationship between GDP, density of the road network and the accessibility to the schools, demonstrating the need to improve the methodologies of the regional planning.
