Abstract | This paper presents the second part of a review of Namibia's performance since independence in March 1990. The first part of this review served as an introduction to the topic, summarised the historical background and assessed Namibia's overall performance on the basis of the results of the Mo-Ibrahim-Index of Good Governance. This second part looks in more detail at three main development sectors: political and civil society development, economic development, and social development. Based on the findings of both articles, this review concludes here with a final overall evaluation of Namibia's performance since 1990. |
