HOUSEHOLD Questionnaire: Household characteristics, household listing, education, current activity status, employment, unemployment/underemployment, unpaid household services, child labour, housing and household characteristics including water and sanitation, migration, trafficking.

Sampling

Sampling Procedure
Proposed sampling procedure:
A two-stage stratified sampling design is suggested for the Labor Force Survey (LFS), including a Child Labor Module, to be conducted during October 2010.
First stage units (FSUs) will be village. 540 FSUs will be surveyed,17 provinces and 142 districts.
Second Stage Units (SSUs) will be households. In all, 10,800 households will be selected, 20 households from each FSU.

7 Module VI. Unpaid Household Services (Household Chores)

Data Processing

Data Editing
- Office editing and coding (survey team responsible).
- Using Microsoft Access to create database and application form for data entry (IT team respondsible and hire person through training for data enrty).
- Structure checking and completeness (IT team responsible).
- Create output database and metadata to SPSS file (IT team responsible).
- Using SPSS for analysis (Survey team responsible).

Such inadvertent identification revealed in her/his analysis will be immediately brought to the attention of the data depositor.

The data and other materials will not be redistributed or sold to other individuals, institutions, or organizations without the written agreement of the Lao PDR National Data Archive.
Citation requirements
Use of the dataset must be acknowledged using a citation which would include:
- the Identification of the Primary Investigator
- the title of the survey (including country, acronym and year of implementation)
- the survey reference number
- the source and date of download
