The goal of this research is to analyze the flow of funds in the health sector in Albania. The study examined all sources of financing in the country's health field: Health Insurance Institute, Ministry of Health, local governments and patients' out-of-pocket payments. It also looked into different types of facilities (hospitals, health centers, pharmacies) and different kinds of expenditure (salaries, supplies, and administrative costs).
