Abstract
Child labor is a dominating phenomenon in Egypt. It is considered a highlyinfluential factor regarding the country’s different economic aspects. This study tacklesthe different areas related to child labor, in an effort to state its main determinants and tofind if it is significantly related to other fields of study. It was found that in spite ofseveral significant individual relationships with child labor, only few were found to besignificant in the logistic regression model. Hence, it is concluded that the maindeterminants of this phenomenon in Egypt are the child’s gender, age, place of residenceand current school attendance
