    Notes

    The following topics were included in the survey: tobacco use, alcohol consumption, diet, physical activity, history of raised blood glucose and history of raised blood pressure. Additionally, the following measures were taken: blood pressure, height, weight, waist circumference, hip circumference and heart rate. Finally, the following optional modules were included: violence and injury.

    A stratified cluster sampling method was used. Please refer to page 5-6 of report for further information.

    A total of 4,756 adults participated in Côte d'Ivoire STEPS survey.
