Definition
GEO2_BD2001 identifies the household's zila (district) within Bangladesh in 2001. Zilas (districts) are the second level administrative units of the country, after divisions. A GIS map (in shapefile format), corresponding to GEO2_BD2001can be downloaded from the GIS Boundary files page in the IPUMS International web site.
