Interviewer instructions
98. <span class="em">Year of immigration to Canada</span>. This question, in column 12, applies to all persons, irrespective of age or sex, who were born outside of Canada, and also to Canadian born persons who had formerly become domiciled in a foreign country but have returned to their native soil. For those of foreign birth the year of their first entry into Canada should be given, and for those of Canadian birth the year of their returning home to remain permanently should be given.
