<div class="i1">It is the code of the source census register from which the individual record has been digitized. It is the code used in the bookkeeping of the physical census registers at the National Archives of Egypt. Census registers are organized by province, and within each province, by district (<span class="lang">qism</span>) in Cairo and Alexandria, quarter (<span class="lang">shiyakha</span>) in other urban provinces, and village (<span class="lang">nahiya</span>) in rural provinces.</div>
