How to record the data<br /><br />The industry of the establishment where the principal occupation declared in question 17 (manufacturing, service, etc.) is recorded in the space provided.<br /><br />Generic terms, such as factory, plantation, workshop, etc., should not be used to describe the industry. The name of the establishment should not be used: e.g. <span class="lang">Santa Inés</span> Fabric, <span class="lang">El Artesano</span>, etc. However, in cases of public sector institutions: central government, semi-autonomous and decentralized entities (IGSS, INDE, etc.), the name should be used.
