<br /><span class="ital">Employee or worker in the public sector</span>:
<br />It refers to those who work in public administration (governments or autonomous institutions), carrying out an executive, administrative, or support occupation.</p>

<p><span class="ital">Employee or worker in the private sector</span>:
<br />It refers to those who work in a private company carrying out a managerial, technical, administrative, manual, or support occupation.</p>
<p><span class="ital">Employer</span>:
<br />It refers to those who work alone or in association, in their own factory, workshop, company, or business and who employs one or more persons for a salary or wage.</p>
<p>Administrators, managers, or other directors who are in charge of personnel but are not the company's owner, are not considered to be employers.</p>
<p><span class="ital">Unpaid family worker</span>:
<br />It refers to those who work for the company directed by a family member, not receiving a salary or a wage.</p>
<p><span class="ital">Own-account worker</span>:
<br />This refers to the workers who offer and charge for their services individually. They do not have an employer and do not contract salaried personnel. <br />In this category are those who work as active members of one or more production cooperatives and who receive payment according to their participation. If the person is not a member of the cooperative and only receives a wage, they must not be in this category, rather they must be included in the first or second category as an employee or laborer of the public or private sector.
