Definition
GEO2_LA1995 identifies the household's district within the Lao People's Democratic Republic in 1995. Districts are the second level administrative units of the country. A GIS map (in shapefile format), corresponding to GEO2_LA1995 can be downloaded from the GIS Boundary files page in the IPUMS International web site.
