<span class="h2">7.5 Battery III. Work context</span>
<br />Starting with this battery of questions and up to six, the information you obtain will refer exclusively to the main job of the employed population, such that it could have been performed during the reference week or they could have been absent from it, but with return assured.</p>

<p>The purpose of this battery of questions is to identify the person's position or job, their title in the occupation, the size of the economic unit and how long they have been on the job, among others. In addition, based on title in the occupation, the purpose will be, in the case of:</p>
<div class="i1">- Independent workers, identify their level of autonomy and the line of their activity.<br />- Subordinate workers, identify whether they have a written contract and access to employment benefits, as well as the form in which they accessed their job.</div><span class="em">Question 3d</span>
<br />This question is asked to independent workers, to find out whether they employ workers, with or without pay.</p>

<div class="i1">- If only partners work in a business or company, consider the interviewee (partner) the employer of the economic unit, and the other partner or partners, for the purposes of this question in particular, their subordinate workers. In the strict sense, the partners should not be cataloged as their subordinates, however, this decision should be adopted to better characterize the economic unit.</div><p>Partners. People who, in association with other(s), has a company or business in which they participate not only with capital, but also with work in its operation.</p>

<p>In this case, regardless of whether or not the economic unit is incorporated as an individual or legal entity, in both cases the partners are considered employees of the partner who is being interviewed.</p>

<p>Individual. A person with the capacity to contract obligations, from a fiscal perspective, in the operation of an economic activity, and exercise rights.</p>

<p>Legal entity. A group of people who join with a specific purpose, for example, a corporation, a non-profit organization.</p>
