Description

Definition
OC2TRDNO classifies a person's secondary occupation, and describes the industrial sector within which it occurs. The sectors broadly correspond to primary, secondary and tertiary sectors.

Information on the social status of an occupation is contained in the variable OC2HIRNO.

Note that not all people had two occupations, and that the information on the first occupation is more meaningful. See the variables OC1HIRNO and OC1TRDNO.

Less than 3% of individuals have a coded secondary occupation in the 1900 Norwegian census.
