<p><span class="em">Predominant construction material in exterior walls</span>: It refers to the building material of most of the perimeter or contour walls of the housing unit. It excludes surrounding fences or walls.</p>
<div class="i1">Example 1: If half of the exterior walls are made of <span class="lang">quincha</span> (cane with mud) and the other half of the walls are made of wood, there is not a predominant building material, so fill in the lower option: 5, "<span class="lang">Quincha </span>(cane with mud)?".<br /><br />Example 2: If most of the exterior walls are made of brick and the rest is adobe brick, fill in the option 1, "brick or cement block?", since it is the predominant material used.</div>
