Description

Definition
This variable indicates the number of years ago that the householder (for 1980 on), moved into the dwelling unit (apartment, house, or mobile home). Persons who moved back into the same house or apartment where they lived previously were to report the year when they began the present occupancy. Persons who moved from one apartment to another in the same building were to report the year they moved into the present apartment.
