<svar a="all" v="BR80A408"><span class="h3">Question 8 - Religion</span><br /><br />The entry must identify the sect, cult or branch of the religion professed, such as: Roman Catholic, Orthodox Catholic, Brazilian Catholic, Anglican, Episcopalian, Lutheran, Baptist, Christian Congregation of Brazil, Pentecostal, Adventist, Kardecist, Umbanda, Candomblé, Buddhist, Israelite, Shintoist, Mohammedan, Esoteric, Jehovah's Witness, etc.<br />Generic expressions such as Catholic, Protestant, Spiritualist, etc. should not be recorded.<br />For persons who do not profess any religion, No Religion should be recorded.<br />In cases of doubt as to the definition of the religion of minor children, the mother's religion should be recorded.<br />The Enumerator should ask the respondent about the religion of each person in the household. The religion cannot be deduced on the basis of the declaration of the Head.<br /></svar>
