Definition
GEO2_IQ identifies the household's district (qadah) within Iraq in 1997. Districts are the second level administrative units of the country, after governorates. A GIS map (in shapefile format), corresponding to GEO2_IQ can be downloaded from the GIS Boundary files page in the IPUMS International web site.
