Definition
ETHNICNP indicates the person's caste or ethnicity in the Nepal sample.
Caste identifies a group according to Hindu caste system, whereas ethnic group means a native group having its own mother tongue and culture.
For example, Brahmin, Chhetri, Kaami, Rajput, Kayastha, Marwadi, etc. are castes, whereas Bhote, Limbu, Tamang are ethnic groups.
