<br />The relationship question is designed to determine families within households. This includes where there are two or more families in the one household. For example, a household consisting of an adult daughter living with her two parents and her own child would be counted as a two family household. The example given below shows how the question should be answered for the child in this situation, where the parents are Persons1 and 2 on the form, the adult daughter is person 3 and the child is person 4.
