Question 22 -- explanations: Manner of arrival to work</span><br /><br />[Instructions refer to a graphic of the census form including question 22.]<br /><br />In the answer refer to the workplace registered in question 19.<br /><div class="i1">If the workplace is the person's home, circle "0" and skip to question 24.<br /><br />If a person arrives at a gathering place in one vehicle and leaves it for work in a different vehicle -- mark the <span class="em">vehicle in which he/she travels to the gathering place</span>.<br /><br />If a person travels to work in different vehicles on different days of the week, mark the vehicle in which he/she travels <span class="em">most days</span>.<br /><br />If a person is part of a car-pooling group of people, in which every day a different member of the group is the driver - mark answer 7, since most of the week he/she arrives in private car as a <span class="em">passenger</span> (and not as a driver).<br /><br />If a person uses several types of vehicles on his way to work (while alternating between them) -- specify the vehicle in which travels the longest distance.</div><br /></svar>
