<p>Age refers to the number of completed years that a person has lived.</p>
<p>This variable together with the previous variable, from which it is derived, allows for an analysis of the population by year of birth as well as by age in years completed.</p>
<p>Categories of this variable:</p>
<div class="i1">Age year by year (this only groups the people 100 years or older)<br />Age in five-year groups (ages in groups of 5 years and only groups the people 90 years or older)<br />Age in large groups (of 0 to 15, of 16 to 64, and of 65 years or older)</div>
