<p>The professional situation refers to the kind of work contract (explicit or implicit) with other people or organizations, that the person has in their work position. The basic criteria used for defining the groups of the classification is the kind of economic responsibility and the type of authority that the person assumes about the establishments and their workers.</p>
<p>Information will be collected about this variable for the people that are 15 years or older that:</p>
<div class="i1">Are employed during the reference week<br />Are unemployed during the reference week, but have been employed at least once in the past.</div><p>Categories of this variable:</p>
<div class="i1">Self-employed worker with fixed or indefinite character<br />Self-employed worker with eventual or temporary character<br />Entrepreneur or professional that employs personnel<br />Entrepreneur or professional that does not employ personnel<br />Family help<br />Members of cooperatives</div>
