<p>This variable allows us to determine movements of people (Spaniards and foreigners) that have habitually resided at some moment abroad and have arrived to Spain in the past, independently of the place of birth or nationality and independently of other changes of habitual resdience that could have occurred within the country.</p>
<p>Consequently, it provides information of the last immigration coming from abroad.</p>
<p>Categories of this variable</p>
<div class="i1">Never resided abroad<br />Resided abroad at some point and arrived to Spain before 1960<br />Resided abroad at some point and arrived to Spain between 1960 and 1969<br />Resided abroad at some point and arrived to Spain between 1970 and 1979<br />Resided abroad at some point and arrived to Spain between 1980 and 1989<br />Resided abroad at some point and arrived to Spain between 1990 and 1999<br />Resided abroad at some point and arrived to Spain after 1999 (this information will be disaggregated year by year)</div>

Definition
This variable reports year of most recent arrival to Spain for all persons. It is presumed that year of arrival corresponds to year of birth for those who have never lived outside of Spain.
