<svar a="all" v="VN99A411 VN99A412 VN99A413"><span class="em">Question 7:</span> On the census night (3/31/1999), was (name) present in this province, in another province or overseas?<br /><br />Place of stay during the census night on March 31, 1999 is defined as name of province/city where respondent was present on the night of March 31, 1999. It is not necessarily the respondent's actual place of residence.<br /><br />If name of province/city where the respondent stays at the night of March 31, 1999 is the same with the name of province/city on the 1st page of the enumeration form, interviewers select code "1". If it is different from the name on the 1st page of the enumeration form, interviewers select code "2" and fill in name of that province/city in the given line and leave three code cells blank.<br /><br />If respondent is aboard on that night, interviewers select code "3".<br /><br />Note: If persons are traveling on the night of March 31, 1999, interviewers follow this rule:<br /><br /><div class="i1">If respondent is aboard a train, airplane or ship at the 24 hours of March 31, 1999, interviewers fill in name of province/city where that means of transportation is.
