This component of the High Frequency Survey-Market Price Survey (HFS-MPS) collects daily exchange rate and weekly market price data. The initiative is designed by the World Bank, jointly implemented with the South Sudan National Bureau of Statistics (NBS) and funded by a Trust Fund from DfID and the Multi Donor Trust Fund for Sustainable Logistics. The Market Price Survey (MPS) has been conducted in 6 major towns since 2012 and were recently expanded to 16 locations.
