Definition
For children whose mothers received antenatal care, ANCMZ2 indicates whether they received care at a public "provincial hospital." This response category is country-specific to Mozambique.

Some samples in the "ANC" series include categories that can be consolidated into a single response. IPUMS-DHS uses supplemental programming to combine these responses in a standard variable while preserving the separate responses in country-specific variables.

ANCMZ2 is combined with ANCMZ1 (Public central hospital) and ANCMZ3 (Public rural hospital) in ANCPUBHOS (all public hospitals) for the 2011 Mozambique sample. IPUMS-DHS users interested in using ANCMZ2 are encouraged to review ANCPUBHOS for a more comprehensive response category.
