Description
Definition
For household members under age 5 who were potential subjects for height and weight measurement, HWCDAYMEAS_ET reports the day of the month on which their height and weight were measured by DHS personnel, according to the Ethiopian calendar. Their age in days on the day of measurement is used in DHS calculations of anthropometric Z-scores. This variable is available only for the Ethiopian samples.
The complementary variables HWCMONTHMEAS_ET and HWCYEARMEAS_ET report the calendar month and the year, respectively, of the young household member's height and weight measurement, according to the Ethiopian calendar.
