Definition

INTDATECMCMN_ET (MV008_ET) reports the century month code (CMC) for the date of the interview. However, INTDATECMCMN_ET is country-specific to Ethiopia, as the data are recorded using the Ethiopian calendar. For most other countries, the CMC data for the interview date are recorded using the Gregorian calendar. On average, there is a seven to eight year gap between the Ethiopian and Gregorian calendars.

For the 2000 and 2005 Ethiopian samples only, the dates were also calculated according to the Gregorian calendar, so those samples also appear in INTDATECMCMN.
