Description

Definition
Like DOB1STKIDCMC (V211), DOB1STKIDCMC_ET reports the century month code (CMC) for the date of the woman's first birth. However, DOB1STKIDCMC_ET is country-specific to Ethiopia, as the data are recorded using the Ethiopian calendar. For most countries, the CMC data for the date of the woman's first birth are recorded using the Gregorian calendar. On average, there is a seven to eight year gap between the Ethiopian and Gregorian calendars.

For detailed information about the calculation and interpretation of CMC data about the date of the woman's first birth, see DOB1STKIDCMC (V211).
