HCMRW2 indicates whether the woman reported a public district hospital as a source for male condoms. This response category is country-specific to Rwanda.

Some samples in the "HCM" series include categories that can be consolidated into a single response. IPUMS-DHS uses supplemental programming to combine these responses in a standard variable while preserving the separate responses in country-specific variables.

HCMRW2 is combined with HCMRW1 (public referral hospital) in HCMPUBHOS (all public hospitals) for the 2010 and 2014 Rwanda samples. IPUMS-DHS users interested in using HCMRW2 are encouraged to review HCMPUBHOS for a more comprehensive response category.
