Definition
GEO_RW2014 (V101_RW2014) reports the region of Rwanda where the respondent was interviewed. DHS units in the 2014 Rwanda survey are equivalent to provinces.

Other sample years have their own sample-specific geography variables. The integrated variables GEO_RW1992_2005 and GEO_RW2005_2014 provide spatially consistent units for Rwanda over time. The Rwanda 2014 sample is excluded from GEO_RW1995_2005 due to inconsistent boundaries. Greater geographic detail for the Rwanda 2014 sample can be found in GEOALT_RW2014 (provinces).
