Definition
For children whose mothers received antenatal care, ANCZW4 indicates whether they received care at a public "rural hospital." This response category is country-specific to Zimbabwe.

Some samples in the "ANC" series include categories that can be consolidated into a single response. IPUMS-DHS uses supplemental programming to combine these responses in a standard variable while preserving the separate responses in country-specific variables.

ANCZW4 is combined with ANCZW1 (public central hospital), ANCZW2 (public provincial hospital), and ANCZW3 (public district hospital) in ANCPUBHOS (all public hospitals) for the 2010 and 2015 Zimbabwe samples. IPUMS-DHS users interested in using ANCZW4 are encouraged to review ANCPUBHOS for a more comprehensive response category.
