Definition
For young children with a fever or cough in the past 2 weeks, FEVTRZW10 indicates, in response to an open-ended question, whether the child received treatment at some "other retailer" for this illness. This response category is country-specific to Zimbabwe.
Some samples in the "FEVTR" series include categories that can be consolidated into a single response. IPUMS-DHS uses supplemental programming to combine these responses in a standard variable while preserving the separate responses in country-specific variables.
FEVTRZW10 is combined with FEVTRZW8 (general dealer) and FEVTRZW9 (tuck shop/service station/bottle store/bar) in FEVTRSHOP (all shops/retailers) for the 2015 Zimbabwe sample.
