Description

Definition
KIDHIDX (HIDXA) reports the young child's index to the birth history, or the child's line number in the woman's reproductive history, for the child health and nutrition section. All children born in the last 3 to 5 years (depending on the sample) are included in KIDHIDX.

This number reported in KIDHIDX is typically equal to BIDX, the index number of the child in the mother's birth history.
