For women who are not currently using a method of contraception, FPNONPUBDRUG indicates whether, in response to an open-ended question, they reported a public dispensary or pharmacy as a source of family planning.

IPUMS-DHS users should be careful to distinguish this variable from FPNONPRIVDRUG, which indicates whether the woman reported a private dispensary or pharmacy as a source.
