The Labor Force Survey is a probability sample survey. This allows generalization of the results over the whole population.
Since the first quarter of 2010, the LFS sample has been doubled in order to ensure the required 2% precision for estimation on changes of the state between quarters at the country's level for the population comprising 5% of the working age population in accordance with the Regulation (Council Regulation (EC) No 577/98 of 9 March 1998 on the organization of a labour force sample survey in the Community).
The lowest level of administrative division at which the LFS data are available is voivodship. It is due to the representative character of the survey and the sample size. The data at lower levels of territorial division are biased with too high sampling error, similarly to additional breakages at the voivodship level.
