Description

Definition
For children whose mothers received antenatal care, ANCJO4 indicates whether the mothers received care at a UNRWA (United Nations Relief and Works Agency for Palestine Refugees in the Near East) health center. This response category is country-specific to Jordan.

Some samples in the "ANC" series include categories that can be consolidated into a single response. IPUMS-DHS uses supplemental programming to combine these responses in a standard variable while preserving the separate responses in country-specific variables.

ANCJO4 is combined with ANCJO5 (UNHCR/other NGO) in ANCNGO (all NGOs) for the 2017 Jordan survey. IPUMS-DHS users interested in using ANCJO4 are encouraged to review ANCNGO for a more comprehensive response category.
