Definition
GEO_NM2000 (V101_NM2000) indicates the region of Namibia where the respondent was interviewed. DHS regions in the 2000 Namibia survey are equivalent to divisions.
Other sample years have their own sample-specific geography variables. There are also two integrated variable, GEO_NM1992_2013 and GEO_NM2000_2013, that provides spatially consistent units over time.
A GIS map for GEO_NM2000 (in shapefile format) can be downloaded from the DHS Program Spatial Data Repository [URL omitted from DDI.] Boundaries page.
