For young children with a fever or cough in the past 2 to 4 weeks, FEVGIVARTESIV (ML13AB) indicates whether the child was given an artesunate injection or IV.
FEVGIVARTESIV is combined with FEVGIVARTESREC (ML13AA) (child given rectal artesunate) to create the variable FEVGIVARTES. IPUMS-DHS users interested in using FEVGIVARTESIV are encouraged to review FEVGIVARTES for this more comprehensive response category.
