A considerable amount of research has been devoted to the development of planning models focussing on consistency. However, this work has mostly been concerned with planning at the national level. Similar models at the regional level raise special issues that are important. The purpose of this paper is to consider a model for the State of Punjab using an updated input-output table. It also discusses the methodology for computing the final demand vector.
