Abstract
Early Childhood Development and Education is extremely important for the future development of Cambodia. It is even more important looking from a gender and child rights perspective in which all children are deserved to get adequate quality care and in which women are entitled to have access to free child care services provided by the State. The issues of early childhood development and education will be one of great importance and priority within the next 10 and 15 years to enhance poverty reduction and to realise the CMDGs
