This article makes measurements of concentration of media industries and telecommunications in Mexico, to support a discussion on competition and diversity that exists in each. The study uses three levels of concentration: CR4, HHI and Noam. The findings indicate that, with certain exceptions, for the past 20 years the concentration of industries in content distribution, media and telecommunications services ranging from high to very high.
