| Abstract | This article presents a preliminary comparison of mortality data from 10 island countries and territories in the Caribbean Major dtyerences were observed between the mortality on dzyerent islands ascribable to the four causes of death assessed-these being cancer, ischemic heart disease, diabetes mellitus, and automobile accidents. |
