Abstract
Today, tourism is one of the major issues affecting the economy and one of the leading factors of
communication, social and cultural that is important globally. Tourist flows can be affect different
directions of economic and social dimensions of countries in cases of foreign exchange technology, regional
economic development, economic development, job creation and cultural contacts. In countries that have
attempted to develop the tourism industry by accurate and rational planning high share of national income
is obtained in this way. Tourism can have different effects on different targets, villages are including these
targets. The aim of this study is to evaluate the effects of tourism on the development of rural areas in the
Sangan district. The population in this study is consisted of 160 residents of Sang an district which 113
people were selected randomly as sample. Data was collected through questionnaire and has been
analyzed by statistical methods, Pearson correlation and T. test. And then consequences of tourism in
development of Sangan district were confirmed based on field findings and the tests results. This study
seeks to examine the physical and environmental consequences and to determine the measure of socio -
cultural and environmental effects that have the greatest impact on the study area.
