The Kurdistan infrastructure has been damage by many years of war, genocide
and forced displacement at the hand of the previous Iranian regime. In order to, in the past
decade, the attention for urban green space (UGS) and especially the benefits related to it has
grown. The aim of current research is strategic planning and urban green spaces in Saqqez
city. The research method we have used is based on the descriptive-analytical approach.
Results show that Green space land use in Saqqez city is include of 6645 m2
. The relative
contribution of this land use is cover 0.11% of study area entire vast. It has a very low per
capita. Per capita of this land in Saqqez master plan is suggested 4.5 m2 for each person.
Finally we have presented some solve ways with attention to Strategic Planning approach and
master plans for 2018.
