Abstract
The objective of this research project is to implement a strategy for corporate identity and
growth to improve promotion of garment making micro-enterprises in the parish of Quisapincha,
Ecuador. Various contributing strategies were proposed throughout this process. To assess the
current circumstances of the micro-enterprises, tools such as PEST analysis (of political,
economic, social and technological factors), SWOT analysis and Porter’s Five Forces were used.
Through this analysis, it is possible to gain an in-depth understanding of the reality that these
micro-enterprises face. This research used the exploratory method. Surveys were carried out
with microentrepreneurs, obtaining relevant information pertaining to the real state of the
business, the expectation of mergers, and further aspects which facilitate the establishment of all
elements necessary to design strategies for corporate identity and growth. Subsequently, the
proposed strategies are validated according to their suitability for each micro-enterprise. The
purpose of this is to strengthen the corporate and economic growth of micro-enterprises which
produce and market goods. This validation is performed by a specialist in handmade goods
micro-enterprises in the province of Tungurahua. Results are favourable for the study
undertaken.
