Abstract
The ATPDEA was a law tariff preference that was issued for the Andean countries
exported to the United States without paying any duty, by this law Ecuador managed to
extend its offer for exports of non-traditional products, generating new and important
industries such as tuna.
This research project is based on knowing what was taking Impact of Tax Credit
Certificates on tuna exports to renounce the ATPDEA, which represented one of the
largest items in exports to the United States.
We will start an analysis to tuna export companies located in the city of Manta,
revealing what were the pros and cons that has been through the tuna industry from
2013 to 2015.
ATPDEA reflected the great importance within heading 1604141000 for the Tuna as it
allowed the Ecuadorian trade expands within and outside the territory, generating more
jobs and higher production.
