Among all Latinamerican countries, Colombia has one of the highest labor indexes
of children and youth. This document shows the real data of infant workers in
Colombia and identifies the laws and governmental strategies about this issue in
the last years as well. However, this topic is not popular between the majority of
the citizens in Colombia or they simply do not know the actions taken by the
government to mitigate this problem. Finally, this document also presents a yearly
comparison in order to evidence the impact of the government policy actions
against infant labor.
