Abstract | Productivity has been regarded as one of the factors related to survival of organizations and the life quality of the inhabitants of a country from a macro point of view. Therefore, measure, understand and work for its increase by novel production or organizational methods is an important matter that involves the response and decisions of a changing media environment. Thus, with the aim of knowing the perspectives that can have the application of biological elements for increased productivity in the developing countries contexts, the most significant trends in productivity, manufacturing systems and biological manufacturing systems were identified. This allowing identify the most relevant concepts and structures in time for those, and then correlate the biological basis as a new paradigm relevant for increasing productivity in contexts such as Colombia and the graphic arts specifically. |
